Earlier the suggestion came up that we should allow picks to be tradec now for the 2010 draft. I am open to this but I want to know what other GMs think. Please share your thoughts.

I think all first round picks next year should be given to whatever teams based in Minneapolis.

I think it should be allowed depending on one thing. Are we going to do the draft the same time they do the actual draft?

no we'd do the draft around the same time we did this one. I think we should be able to trade next years picks.

Is there anyone that DOES NOT want 2010 draft picks to be traded right now?

I would say that if you wanted to do this, only allow the following season's picks to be traded. (ie the next draft is the 2010 draft, so only picks in that draft could be traded, not the ones from 2011, 2012, etc.)

Yeah that makes sense.
