Im impressed with Myers he has potential to be a 25-30 homer guy, I like him I love the guy also. I was going to try to snag him.

I'm looking to pull another first round pick... Preferable before the #25 spot.
If you have something, give me a PM. Not looking to move any of my starters but I have Atkins and some other guys available. I'm not moving my first round pick but I'll move my 2nd and something later to move up.

I was hoping he would fall to me, for obvious reasons. I'm kind of regretting trading down actually.

I was very happy to get Purke. I thought he was the best pitching prospect in the 09 draft.

i think the downside on Purke is that you have no idea where he'll rank among pitchers in the '11 draft

Engel Beltre -
Extreme boom or bust player. Horrid 2009 season. I just thought 'if' Beltre had been eligible for the current draft, would have made it to the mid 5th....I don't think he would so,so I thought it was a fair roll of the dice.
With risking that moderate kind of pick, I am more excited about his upside than I am concerned about losing the pick if he burns out.

The biggest dilema I'm running atm is do I take an upside guy who could become a superstar? Or do I take the guy I know will be at least a MLB guy, maybe not great, but an MLB guy non the less at least getting value for my pick...

It's the question that major league clubs battle with every year. Do you take a guy that has a 90% chance of being Brendan Ryan or someone that has a 10% chance of becoming Albert Pujols (and a 90% chance of never making it out of the minors).
Do we have a 12 hour limit on picks? If so, hopefully the Twins get their pick in the next two hours.

Do we have a 12 hour limit on picks? If so, hopefully the Twins get their pick in the next two hours. There is a time limit... I don't know if we decided what we'd do on this if he does not get his pick in? My vote was to forfeit the pick and let him try in round #2. It makes more sense than letting them make their pick at anytime once they get back. You miss your pick, it's your fault in my opinion. Especially if you didn't email the commish who you wanted. Let's keep the draft going.

If they miss the pick I pick for them.

Sounds good. What criteria will you be using? Highest 2009 draft pick available? Highest bonus awarded or something else? If the criteria is known, should the next team pick if you are unavailable at the 12 hour mark?

Im just going by order drafted because I cant find a list of the bonuses given. A team cant skip someone else so they will have to wait for the team until I pick for them if they are not here.
