The draft is coming to a close and I want to clarify some of the rules for things you can do when the draft is over.
Rules for rostering players that HAVE NOT been drafted that were drafted in your team in REAL LIFE: Players that go undrafted, but have signed a pro contract, are eligible to be protected by their corresponding real-life team in this league.
What happens to players drafted in real life by a team, that the GM does not roster?: If an undrafted player that has signed a pro contract has not been rostered within a week of the end of the draft, then that player is on waivers and is eligible to be claimed by any team. You may only claim other teams players after the one week period after the draft ends.
Players that go undrafted, but have not signed a pro contract in real life, will automatically be placed into the next year's draft pool. All players that are drafted have their rights retained indefinitely, until they reach free agency in our league structure.
How to Roster the players drafted by YOUR team in REAL LIFE that went undrafted: When the draft ends, if you want to, you need to start a new thread in the waiver section of the boards with the players you want to pickup. This must be done before the time I specify as soon as the draft is over. Please make sure you have the necessary cap room to roster these players.
ONLY MAKE THESE MOVES WHEN THE DRAFT IS COMPLETE
Please ask questions if you have them!

Create a thread in your team, claim the players you want to roster... that's about it, right?

That's how you do it for your own teams players.

Might I suggest an acronym: CUP, Claims of Undrafted Players. I've used this for my post and it makes sense to CUP a player is to keep him. So everyone's header reads something like this: Claim of Undrafted Players: Tigers
instead of this: Rostering players that HAVE NOT been drafted that were drafted in your team in REAL LIFE:
It also makes sense for us to have some "inside" vocabulary term for this since it can otherwise be confusing.

Ok I Have a question. How are international players not drafted and not signed by a certain team allowed to be picked up as if they were? Should they not have to go thru the waivers claim like other players?

What i mean is on your waiver claim you picked up the Austrailian player? Was he signed by the Orioles in real life?
