Can we discuss this. Reds went over their cap on the 4th, therefore I assume it was an illegal bid. Therefore, my bid of 900K on the 4th at 1205 was still the highest bid as of the 5th at 1205 and therefore was the winning bid. Reds could not make their $1M bid.
Am I wrong?

We are going to put a hold on this as the Reds offer. The clock is off now. If the Reds want to drop prospects for him, then they are able to to create their cap space. Or he may explain that his roster is not up to date and will explain the un-updated moves. IF he can't or refuses to do either, then we will back up. However, in the future, I think it will be that you may be forced to drop prospects or clear cap space if you overbid.
